Math
Math is an art of abstraction.
So is code.
So is art.
.
The glorious endeavor of various visualizations of
code, math and numbers (data),
e.g. 369 Vortex, Mandelbrot,
Cymatics, Fibonacci numbers
(tiles, spiral, golden ratio, triangle, trees)...
have revealed so many hidden secrets and the sublime
beauty of both the abstract and real world...
.
No need to know or understand these theories.
Our prerogative is to make exciting delightful
awesome eye candies!
However, before long, some beautiful connections
will be unveiled before our eyes
in an intuitive and intimate way.
X? Y? Color?
Give 3 numbers
Anybody can code!
.
Unlike the good people who work with
tangible,
bonafide, raw materials, we play with
[0, 0] or "#000000".
(Or got played?)
.
[0, 0] is a pixel.
"#000000" describes what this pixel looks like.
A pixel is a light.
A lot of pixels are a lot of lights.
Hence the illusion.
Every pixel is flirting with this illusion.
(Could it be yet another expression of fractals?)
When we consider an important factor motion
into account, even more so.
1 + 1 > 2
Wow
.
Light is everything.
Light is color. Light is texture.
Light is silhouette (shape/form). Light is depth.
Hence the reality. Or the illusion*?
.
Based on this premise, all, may it be avant-garde,
subtle&delicate or incredibly intricate, forms,
shades, textures, reflections, brilliance etc. in the
physical world could be recreated with code supposedly#.
.
Thus the quest is always about the unique,
true potential and strength of coding - as design.
In addition to how to convey, share and reproduce the
excitement (unique too)
from learning to code - as design.
K or Rabbits?
When we thought YES
everything unknown in the universe could be
explained with math and numbers.
.
Pirahã people
"The Pirahã are an indigenous people of the
Amazon Rainforest in Brazil."
"...the language has no cardinal or ordinal numbers".
"I spent an hour every night trying to teach them
how to count. And it never got anywhere."
There appears to be no concept of history
or social hierarchy in their culture.
.
"After working with the language for 30 years...
it has no relative clauses or grammatical recursion."
→ a counterexample to Chomsky linguistic theory.
→ No recursion means a lot. Unfathomable even...
.
"The language may have no unique words for colors..."
→ contradicting "Berlin and Kay's hypothesis on
the universality of color-naming".
.
If something that feels so intrinsic so verseral like
1 2 3 could be imposed on us, I am speechless...
Number
Quadrivium:
Number in the abstract - Arithmetic
Number in space - Geometry
Number in time - Music
Number in space and time - Astronomy
.
"All is number."
~ Pythagoras
.
Oh... (whatever)
.
But Nikola Tesla said
the same thing too.
.
Really?
Now I am interested...
Ikemen!
.
~ A Few "Moments" Later ~
.
"All is number."
Number is all.
So what are those Prime Numbers?
and
what are those gigantic Prime Numbers?
.
Prime Numbers are the Black Box.
Algebra
"Algebra comes from the Arabic word al-jabr,
which means "reunion of broken parts..."
Fibonacci
is really everywhere.
this is one of my favorite emojis -
💩
And this is an image with a title of
"The shift of time and energy".
Yeah "what do you think?"
Sweet Reminder
Natural light (e.g. sunlight, firewood or candle light)
is nutritious, energizing/soothing and therapeutic.
Sunlight, for example, gives us Vitamin D and Melatonin
(Infrared in it). Will do more research on light...
